Danielle joined our Office in 1999 and worked as a full-time trial attorney for 15 years, starting in misdemeanors, graduating to felonies, and then to serious and complex cases, along with some short stints honing her motion and writ practice in our Research Unit. In 2014, Danielle was chosen to lead the Felony Trial unit and did so for five years until transitioning to lead the Integrity Unit in 2019. There, she found a passion for post-conviction relief work and began The Freedom Project, seeking to liberate persons from prisons throughout California, ease integration, and strengthen second-chance laws.
Danielle is raising two fierce daughters and is most happily found walking her dog Shiloh in the Marin hills in her free time.
